Congratulations to ‘03 Forward, Justin Lies on being named the Victoria Inn Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Month for November!
This month, Lies helped the Bombers win 6 of their 8 games and was on an absolute tear, scoring a goal in every single one of them! The Flin Flon local product had 12 goals and 9 assists for 21 points in 8 games, with a +15 plus/minus. This included one 4 point performance against Humboldt, where he tallied two goals and two assists, and 4 three point performances throughout the month. Lies currently leads the league in points with 46, leads the league in goals scored with 22 and is tied for second overall in assists with 24. The Bombers have been very impressed with Lies’s play and hope he continues with his outstanding performance. Not only is Lies a great talent on the ice with his skating, scoring ability, physicality and IQ, but also off the ice with his great leadership skills that have helped the Bombers become so successful. Lies was also named SJHL Forward of the Month.
