The Northland Ford Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Week is ’04 Forward, Carter Anderson!
This week, the Thompson, Manitoba product had some big performances to help the Bombers win all 3 games on their slate! On Wednesday night, Anderson was able to get one goal to help the Bombers take the 4-2 win over Melfort. It was on Friday night, where Anderson had his best performance of the season, tallying 4 goals and 1 assist for 5 points in the 8-4 win over Yorkton. Then again on Saturday against Humboldt, Anderson had another amazing game, putting up 2 goals to help the Bombers take the 6-2 win. To sum up the week, Anderson had 7 goals and 1 assists for 8 points in 3 games. Overall, Anderson is now second in the league for goals scored with 20. Anderson has also been named the SJHL Forward of the Week.
