This week, the Bombers will have one of their toughest weekends of the season as they head to North Battleford to take on the Battlefords North Stars in a rematch of last year’s finals with back to back games on Friday and Saturday. The North Stars are the defending SJHL Champions and are currently 2nd overall in the SJHL and the #9 Ranked CJHL team. This will be the first time these two teams will play each other this season. Last season, the Bombers played Battlefords four times in the regular season and were only victorious in one game, winning 6-0. Battlefords also swept the Bombers 4-0 in the Finals. It’s safe to say this will be one of the most exciting and hard fought games for both teams this season. The Bombers will want to take revenge on the North Stars for last season and the North Stars will want to try and prove that they are the #1 team in the SJHL and even the country. Puck drop on Friday is 7:30 PM at the Access Communication Centre. Puck drop on Saturday is 7:30 PM at the Battleford Arena.
