Bomber Forward Commits to Fredonia State University (NCAA DIII)

The Flin Flon Bombers would like to congratulate ’03 Forward, Matt Egan, on his commitment to continue his hockey and academic career at Fredonia State University (NCAA DIII) in Fredonia, New York.

The Fredonia State Blue Devils are a NCAA Division 3 School that competes in the State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC). They won the SUNYAC Championship in 1994, 1995 and 2007. The Blue Devils currently hold a 4-12-1 record.

Egan is a St. Adolphe, Manitoba product who came to the Bombers for the 2021/22 season. In his first season with the Bombers, Egan played in 27 games, notching 4 goals and 6 assists. Last season, he scored 4 goals and tallied 3 assists for 7 points in 47 games. This season, the left handed shooter has 2 goals and 1 assist in 13 games so far. Standing at 6’2, Egan is big, strong, physical forward with a good shot and great skating ability.
