Bombers Week Preview: Powered By Elite Communications

The Bombers head out on the road this week for 4 games in 5 nights beginning tomorrow night in Melville. The two teams played this past weekend at the Whitney Forum with the Bombers winning 9-3 & 4-3 in overtime. The Millionaires are currently 1-3-4-0.

Wednesday night the Bombers take on the Viterra Division leading Estevan Bruins. The Bruins are hosting the 2022 Centennial Cup and are loaded with talent. Upfront the Bruins are led by former major junior players Mark Rumsey, Olivier Pouliot and Kade Runke. They also picked up Nolan Jones from the WHL to bolster the backend. Goaltender Boston Bilous has 97 WHL games under his belt.

After a day off in Regina on Thursday, the Bombers will go to battle against the Notre Dame Hounds. The Hounds currently sit in 3rd place in the Global Ag Risk Solutions Division.

To wrap up the southern road swing, the Bombers take on former Bomber Shayde Peterson and the Weyburn Redwings. Peterson was traded to Weyburn back in 2019 to complete the Cade Kowalski trade.

The CJHL released this morning that the Bombers have been ranked #20 in the latest top 20 rankings.
