BOMBERS SIGN GOALTENDER HUNTER LOLACHER

The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce 2003-born goaltender Hunter Lolacher has signed with the team

“Hunter is an extremely athletic and competitive goaltender. He reminds me of a goaltender we had years ago… PJ Musico. I have watched Hunter steal games more than once. He has an extremely bright future and we are very excited to have him sign with us.” – Bombers Head Scout, Jon Klassen

Lolacher went undrafted and the Bombers listed him during his 15 year old season with the Prairie Storm U18 AA. Hunter has spent the last two seasons with the Tisdale Trojans U18 AAA. Last season, the Pilot Butte, SK product played in 30 regular season games with the Trojans, and sported a 15-14 record, to go along with a 3.22 GAA, and a .900 SV%. The 6’0″, 170-pound netminder played in 5 playoff games last spring and posted 2 wins to go along with a 3.67 GAA, and .910 SV%.

Lolacher appeared in 2 games this season before the it was halted because of the COVID-19 pandemic

“It’s a great feeling to sign with the Bombers and I’m excited to get things started. I chose Flin Flon because I felt it would be the best place for my development as a goaltender. I have heard nothing but great things about Flin Flon and I’m excited to commit to such a great organization.” – Hunter Lolacher

The Bombers would like to welcome Hunter and his family to the Flin Flon Bombers organization!
