BOMBERS SIGN WINNIPEG WILD CAPTAIN DEAN GORCHYNSKI

The Flin Flon Bombers are proud to announce the signing of forward Dean Gorchynski

“Dean has good vision and awareness. He is strong on his skates and gets to good spots around the net. He shows commitment to playing the game the right way on both sides of the puck and uses his big frame well to protect the puck. His decision making is a strength and he showcases excellent leadership qualities.” – Bombers Manitoba Scout, Mark Patton

Gorchynski is a 6’2″, 195lbs. 2003 born product of Winnipeg, MB, Canada. Last season Dean produced 55 points (18g, 37a) in 47 games. He also had 5 points (4g, 1a) in 5 playoff games. The Winnipeg Wild have only played 2 games this season.

“Dean will bring a lot to the table. He plays a 200 foot game and is tough to play against. He obviously has great leadership qualities since he’s the captain for the Winnipeg Wild. These are things we want our players to be. We love his size and ability to play in all situations.” – Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Mike Reagan

Gorchynski is the fourth member from the Winnipeg Wild to sign with the Bombers in the last ten years. Danys Chartrand (2012), Paul Soubry (2013) and Niklas Anderson (2017).

“I am extremely excited to be a Bomber. The reputation and history of the organization is amazing along with the success in moving players on to the next level. I’m looking forward to seeing what the future holds.” – Dean Gorchynski

The Bombers would like to welcome Dean and his family to the Flin Flon Bombers organization!
