Congratulations to ’03 Defenceman, Anthony Bax, on being named the Northland Ford Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Week!
The Parkhill, Ontario product played in his first 3 games for the Bombers this week and had an immediate impact in all of them. In his first game Wednesday against Nipawin, he didn’t have any points but was rock solid manning the blue line to help the Bombers get the 4-1 win. On Saturday against Yorkton, Bax got his first goal and assist in a Bomber uniform in the 3-2 shootout win. Then on Sunday, he had a huge three point game, notching 2 goals and 1 assist. Overall this week, Bax tallied 3 goals and 2 assist for 5 points in his first 3 games as a Bomber.
