Bombers Sign Power Forward David Hibbs
At only 17 years old, Hibbs already stands a shade over 6′, and is a strong 200 IBS. He has an excellent shot, obvious size, skates well, and has great hockey IQ.
His 16 year old season had him lead his team in points, and finish 5th in the entire league in points.
“Big, Strong, Physical player that doesn’t mind going to the tough area’s” is how Bombers Head Coach & GM Mike Reagan had to say on Hibbs.
He adds ” Hibbs has lots of upside in terms of development. Will be interesting to see how much he develops from the start of the season to the end. I really think as a 19 and 20 year old he will be really hard to handle for D men down low. I really like that he’s only 17.”
