The Northland Ford Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Week is ’04 Forward, Alexi Sylvestre!
This week, the Sainte-Martine, Quebec product had some big games in all 3 of the Bombers matchup’s. On Wednesday against Melfort, Sylvestre had 1 goal in the 3-0 shutout win. Then on Friday against Battlefords at home, Sylvestre had 1 goal and 1 assists in the 5-3 win over the North Stars. It was on Saturday night where Sylvestre really had an impressive game. Despite the 8-6 loss, Sylvestre had 2 goals and 3 assists for 5 points in round 2 against the North Stars. Overall this season, Sylvestre is 6th in the league scoring with 63 points, 7th in goals with 25, 7th in assists with 38 and is tied for 2nd in game winning goals with 6.
