Flin Flon Bombers Week Recap: Powered By Canadian Tire

The Flin Flon Bombers had just one game this week, defeating the Nipawin Hawks 4-3 on Saturday night in Flin Flon.

The Hawks would get on the board first with a power play marker from Braxton Buckberger. The Bombers would even the score with a power play marker of their own with Cory King’s 5th of the season. Finley Radloff would restore the Hawks lead with his 2nd of the season. The Bombers would explode with three goals in the remaining eight minutes of the second period to give them a 4-2 lead heading into the final frame. Cole Duperreault, Zach Cain and Jeremi Tremblay were the Bomber goal scorers.

The Hawks would make things interesting with another power play marker in the third period but Bombers goaltender Harmon Laser-Hume would shut the door making 15 saves in the final period. The win puts the Bombers in a tie for 3rd place overall with the Humboldt Broncos and just two points back of the La Ronge Ice Wolves for 2nd place.

The Bombers now get set for four games in five nights next week down south.
