This week, the Bombers only play one game before they take an 11 day break, then make their way to Warman, SK for the SJHL Showcase on November 13th. This Thursday, they take on the Melfort Mustangs (10-3-1-0) at the Whitney Forum, 7:30 PM. This is the second time the Bombers will face off against the Mustangs this season. The Bomber played Melfort in the Home Opener on September 23rd, where they lost 2-1 in overtime.
The Mustangs currently sit at 2nd place in the Sherwood Division and 3rd overall in the SJHL with 21 points, but have one game in hand to the Bombers. The Bombers will definitely come out wanting revenge against this Melfort team, but with big changes to the team since the Home Opener, the Mustangs should expect a totally different Bomber team then they saw in September. Regardless, this will be a tough game for both teams and will definitely be a great one to watch as both teams look to show who is king in the Sherwood Division.
