Flin Flon Bombers Week Preview November 27 – December 3, Powered by Elite Communications

This is your Flin Flon Bombers Week Preview Powered by Elite Communications

This week, the Bombers have a chance to gain another 6 points as they have a 3 game slate starting on Wednesday against the Melfort Mustang (15-8-2-0). This will be the third time the Bombers will take on the Mustangs so far this season. These teams have split the past two games against each other, the first one was a 2-1 OT win for Melfort and the last game on November 2nd was a 5-4 win for the Bombers. The Mustangs currently sit at 2nd in the Sherwood Division and 4th overall in the SJHL with 33 points. Melfort just came off of a big 5-4 win over Humboldt and will definitely have the #1 CJHL Flin Flon Bombers in their sights. Puck Drop is Wednesday, November 29th 7:30 PM CST at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon

The Bombers will have one day off before the Yorkton Terriers (8-13-1-1) make their way to the historic Whitney Forum on Friday. This will be the fourth time the Bombers will play the Terriers this season. All three games so far have gone to the Bombers, but they haven’t been easy. Playing two games against each other this past weekend, the Terriers had multiple goal leads in both of the games but still couldn’t find the wins.  The Terriers have shown that they have the potential to make it an interesting game despite what the standings say, but if the Bombers come out ready to play, they shouldn’t have any issues. Puck Drop is Friday, December 1st 7:30 PM CST at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.

The last game for this week will be on Saturday at home for the Bombers against the Humboldt Broncos (15-5-2-1). These two teams faced off only a couple of weeks ago and that was the biggest test for the Bombers this season. Even though two of the best teams in the league and country, the Bombers won both games drastically and were able to outscore them 10-3 in the games.  The Bombers will have to come out ready and disciplined against the Broncos, because despite what the score said in those games, these two teams play a very tight and competitive game that can go in either teams favour.  Regardless, it will definitely be the game to watch as both of these teams are highly skilled and will make for a great night of entertaining hockey. Puck Drop is Saturday, December 2nd 7:30 PM CST at the Whitney Forum in Flin Flon.
