This week, the Flin Flon Bombers play 3 games, starting on Wednesday against the Melfort Mustangs. This will be the sixth and final time these two teams will play each other. Even though the Bombers have solidified their 1st place playoff spot, this is still a big game for both teams as it could possibly put Melfort in a position to lose 2nd place and change the landscape of the playoffs. All the games so far this season between the Mustangs and Bombers have been very close and tough fought games and we should expect nothing less when these two powerhouses faceoff for the final time this season. La Ronge currently holds a record 15-32-3-2, are last in the Sherwood Division and 11th overall in the SJHL with 35 points. That being said, the Bombers need to come into this game prepared and ready for a tough one. They may not have much worry when it comes to the result of the game, but La Ronge is known for being a strong and physical team and especially with the season coming to an end, they will want to let the Bombers know what they are all about. Puck drop is Puck Drop is Friday, March 8th, 7:30 PM at the  at the Whitney Forum. Game will be broadcasted on FloHockey.

For the third game of the week, the Bombers will hop on the bus and make their way to Nipawin to take on the Hawks. Nipawin currently holds a record of 19-27-1-4, are 3rd in the Sherwood Division and 10th overall in the SJHL with 43 points. The Bombers may have won all 5 games so far this season, but there has definitely been some close ones. The Bombers should be able to pull out the win over the Hawks, but with it being the third game of the week and near the end of the season, the Hawks will be hungry and fatigue could possibly be a factor.
