BUSY WEEK FOR THE BOMBERS ENDS TONIGHT WITH A REMATCH AGAINST WEYBURN
The Flin Flon Bombers will host the Weyburn Red Wings in a rematch to what was a heated game on the last southern road trip in Weyburn.
Weyburn is coming off of a loss to the La Ronge Ice Wolves Wednesday night, and Flin Flon is coming off a victory over the Estevan Bruins.
Flin Flon split the weekend series against the visiting Yorkton Terriers.
New comer Caleb Franklin (White Rock, BC), who was acquired from Cowichan of the BCHL, has had a strong start for the Maroon and White. In his first 3 games, he has 3 points, and has fit in well with his line mates. His style of play should prove successful in the SJHL, and the Bombers are happy to have him. Welcome to Flin Flon Caleb.
Ice Chips:
Brandson Hein (Winnipeg, Mb), Nate Hooper (Winnipeg, Mb), Chrystopher Collin (Bois De Fillion, PQ), Daylan Marchi (Lethbridge, AB), and Vincent Nardone (Rosemere, PQ) are continuing to tear up the score sheets.
Calvon Boots (Fairbanks, AK), has served his suspension for an interference call against Yorkton, and is available to be in the lineup tonight. He continues to lead all defense-men in points, despite missing the last two games.
Historically, the Red Wings/Bombers match-up has always been worth the price of admission, and you won’t want to miss out tonight.
