The Flin Flon Bombers have traded forward Dean Gorchynski (03) to the Selkirk Steelers of the MJHL for a Player Development Fee. The Winnipeg product had yet to suit up for the Bombers in the regular season.
Defenceman Ethan McColm (02) has been assigned to the Bombers from the WHL’s Saskatoon Blades. McColm, appeared in 1 game with the Bombers last season.
Our roster currently sits at 16 forwards, 9 defencemen and 2 goaltenders.
Flin Flon has 3 games scheduled for this week beginning tomorrow night at home against the Nipawin Hawks. The Hawks swept La Ronge this past weekend (5-4 & 5-1). Hawks rookie forward Phil Laberge had himself a weekend contributing with 7 points (1g, 6a). Laberge is currently tied for 1st overall in league scoring.
The Bombers and Ice Wolves clash this weekend with a home and home series starting in La Ronge Friday night and wrapping up in Flin Flon on Saturday.
