The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce the addition of Austin Mattes to their staff as the new Director of Game Day Operations & Social Media.
As the Director of Game Day Operations & Social Media, Austin will be responsible for the overall game-night experience and running the teams social media channels and website.

Austin brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team while working as a copywriter at CFAR, mainly writing articles and assisting with the website and social media channels. Austin also does voiceovers and assisted with color commentating last season with the Bombers. Most recently, Austin has been the voice of the PBCN Selects of the KJHL and assisted them with graphic designing. Mattes also did play by play for the MJHL’s OCN Blizzard during the playoffs last season.
Austin is a Winnipeg native, is a graduate of Herzing College and holds a degree in Broadcast and Media Communications.
