The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce that forward Barron Stibbe has committed to Ohio University (ACHA Division I).
The Fargo, North Dakota product was acquired at the January 10th trade deadline from the NAHL’s Aberdeen Wings. In 19 games with the Bombers, Stibbe produced 2 goals and 4 assists. Barron appeared in 16 games during the 2023 SJHL Playoffs where the Bombers reached the league final for the second season in a row.
The Ohio University Bobcats finished the 2022-2023 regular season with a 28-5-2-0 record. The Bobcats fell just one game short of reaching the ACHA Division I National Championship game.
