2022 1st Round SJHL Draft Pick Koen Senft Signs With Bombers

The Flin Flon Bombers are thrilled to announce the signing of 2006-born forward Koen Senft.

The Bombers used their 1st round pick and 8th overall selection in the 2022 SJHL Draft to select the forward out of Regina, Saskatchewan.

“We’re extremely excited to sign out 1st round pick from last years draft. Koen has a high ceiling and is going to be a very good player that will contribute at both ends of the ice. Koen’s 200-foot game is something we place high value on and we feel he has the potential to be one of the top rookies in the SJHL this season.” – Bombers Head Coach & General Manager, Mike Reagan

The 6’0″, 175lbs forward had 42 points (16 G, 26 A) in 39 regular season games with the Regina Pat Canadians U18 AAA program. In 12 playoff games, Senft put up 3 goals and 5 assists for 8 points. The Pat Canadians fell in the SMAAAHL final to the Saskatoon Blazers in a fifth and deciding game. Koen appeared in 2 games last season with the Bombers as an affiliate player.

The Flin Flon Bombers would like to welcome Koen and his family to the Bombers organization.
