In front of nearly 1000 fans, the Bombers responded in a big way with a 9-0 win over Humboldt to take a 3-2 series lead in the SJHL Quarter-Final.
The Bombers had nine different goal scorers in the win from Anthony Piccininno, Liam Hunks, Luke Lepper, Carter Cormier, Koen Senft, Ryder Ringor, Ryder Mucha, Leo Seitz and Hudson Brehaut. Piccininno, Hunks, Ringor and Seitz all had three point nights and goaltender Matthew Kieper responded in a big way making 27 saves for his second shutout of the series.
The series will now shift back to Humboldt for Game 6 on Monday night.
