Bomber Alumni Signs Amateur Tryout Agreement with the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL

Congratulations to Flin Flon Bombers Alumni, Donavan Houle, on signing an Amateur Tryout Agreement with the top affiliate of the San Jose Sharks, the San Jose Barracuda of the AHL.

Houle, 24, just finished up his senior season at the University of Maine after playing in the NCAA Frozen Four Tournament. During his senior campaign, he notched 24 points (nine goals, 15 assists), 33 penalty minutes and a plus-10 rating in 36 games.

Over his four seasons with the Black Bears, the six-foot-one, 195-pounder, appeared in 120 games, collecting 64 points (28 goals, 36 assists), 258 shots, 107 penalty minutes, six power-play goals, two shorthanded goals, and four game-winners.

Before playing at Maine, the Montreal, Quebec product spent three seasons with the Bombers,  totaling  56 goals, 78 assists for 134 points in 155 games.

The Bombers are very proud of Donavan and wish him the very best in this next step of his hockey career!
