2018 FLIN FLON BOMBER DRAFT PROFILES

Jayden Wiens – Extremely talented smart center-man that played with North East Wolfpack this year… Great speed and skill set. You know what you are going to get out of this kid every time he steps on to the ice. Jayden will play AAA midget in Tisdale this year. Every time I watched Jayden, you can see in his eyes how bad he wants to win. Jayden averaged 1.6 points per game this season.

Ashton Ferster – Played bantam in Prince Albert this past season and is committed to play AAA there as well. Ashton improved every time I saw him throughout the season. Smart, skilled, and always in the right spot… can make plays and can score. Complete player that has a great work ethic to go along with his skill. Ashton averaged 1.9 points a game this season.

Hunter Larocque – The Shea Weber of bantam hockey.  Rough and tough dman out of Saskatoon that will be playing with Swift Current AAA midget next year. Very good skill set for a bigger guy and moves extremely well. Has an absolute cannon for a shot. He is not afraid to carry the puck when he sees open ice and will be a player that can play big minutes at the next level.  Hunter averaged 2 points a game this season.

Connor Yager – One of the most exciting players to watch in bantam hockey this year playing with Martensville. The other team knows when Connor is on the ice. Not only can he bang and crash and be very tough to play against, he also has the skill set to play the game at a fast pace. Moves the puck quick and has a quick release. Should be a fan favorite in years to come. Connor averaged 1.3 points a game this season.

Grayson Chell – Grayson really came on in the second half of the season playing his bantam hockey in Saskatoon with the Stallions. Grayson is a smart player who also has a fantastic work ethic. He is the type of player that does a lot of the little things right and is a 200 ft. player. He averaged 1.1 points per game last season.

Owen Slugoski – Auto protected player that played bantam hockey in Sask this past season with the North east Wolfpack.  Owen will continue his play in Sask as he is committed to AAA midget in Moose Jaw. Owen is an extremely reliable player… works hard, does a lot of the little things right. Smooth skater and see’s the ice well. It was fun to watch a local player develop throughout the season. Owen averaged 1.2 points per game.
