The Flin Flon Bombers have signed 18 year old Jaxon White

Drafted 2015, 2 #23 overall by Flin Flon Bombers in the SJHL Bantam Draft, Jaxon White (Warman, SK) has continued to develop with Beardy’s, and was able to get 3 games in with the Maroon and White this past season.

The smooth skating 18 year old has excellent puck skills, and has a high hockey IQ, which Bombers Head Coach & GM Mike Reagan explained after drafting Jaxon in 2015.

“We think he’s going to be a good skating defenseman,” Reagan says. “He’s got good size for his age. We think he’s got good puck skills [and is an] intelligent player. I think he’s going to be a guy that ends up being [one of the] better D-men in the SJHL at some point.” (June 11, 2015 Flin Flon Reminder)

Reagan had this to say on White this year; ”Jaxon was one of our draft picks that has really developed in the last year, which is a good sign for us that he has a lot of room for growth. He skates well, has a great work ethic, and he is high in character. We believe he will be a very solid D-man for the next 3 years.”

Heading into the 2018/2019 campaign, White will look to fill one of the open spots on the back end. In his 3 games this past season, White did not look out of place against the SJHL’s league champions Nipawin Hawks. He also dressed against the Red Wings and Ice Wolves and showed well in those games as well.

Welcome to the Bombers Jaxon!
