The Northland Ford Flin Flon Bombers Players of the Week are ’04 Forward, Dawson Karol and ‘03 Defenseman, Adam McNutt!
This past week, Karol played in 2 games and was able to find crucial points in both of them. On Friday, against Kindersley, the Regina, Saskatchewan product opened up the scoring with the first goal of the game to put the Bombers up 1-0. Then on Saturday, Karol notched himself an assist in the big 4-2 win over the Klippers. Overall this week, Karol put up 1 goal and 1 assist for 2 points in 2 games. McNutt played in 3 games this week and was a big contributor to the Bombers success and defensive presence. In the first two games against Humboldt and Kindersley, despite not getting any points, the Saskatoon product make his presence known on the back end with some huge plays and breakups in crucial moments of the game. On Saturday night, McNutt really took off, scoring 1 goal and grabbing 1 assist for 2 points in the 4-2 win. Overall this week, McNutt had 2 point in 3 games for the Bombers.
