The Northland Ford Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Week is ’03 Defenceman, Noah Houle!
This week, the Montreal, Quebec product was a big contributor to the Bombers 3 wins . On Wednesday night, despite not having any points, Houle made some big plays on the back end to stop some crucial rushes to help take the 1-0 win over La Ronge. It was on Friday night, where Houle had one his biggest games of the season so far, scoring two goals and grabbing one assist in the 5-1 win over Weyburn. Then the next night, against Weyburn again, Houle grabbed 3 big assists to help the Bombers take the 6-2 win to sweep the weekend. To sum up the week, Houle had 2 goals and 4 assists for 6 points in 3 games. Overall, Houle sits in 1st for scoring by defencemen, tied for 3rd in overall scoring and leads the league in assists with 34. Houle was also Named the SJHL MVP of the Week!
