The Bombers 26 game undefeated streak in regulation was snapped on Tuesday night in Nipawin. The Bombers were shutout for the first time this season in the 3-0 loss. Less than 2 weeks ago the Hawks also defeated the SJHL leading Melfort Mustangs 4-1 and were very competitive in the two losses to Melville last weekend.
The Bombers responded in a big way with a 5-2 win over the visiting Estevan Bruins. Ryder Ringor had himself a night scoring a hat-trick and adding an assist. Keefe Gruener and Reid Arberry also scored in the win.
Last night the Bombers completed the weekend sweep of the Bruins with a 4-1 win. Arberry, Leo Seitz and Cole Tanchuk all had multipoint games.
Flin Flon remains in 2nd place in the overall standings with a 31-10-3-1 record, 6 points behind the Melfort Mustangs.
