This week, the Flin Flon Bombers play three games with the first one being this Tuesday, October 24, 7:00 PM ST vs. the Nipawin Hawks (6-5-0-1) at the Centennial Arena in Nipawin. The Bombers have only played the Hawks once this season in their first game of season, where they took the 5-3 win. The Hawks are currently 3rd place in the Sherwood Division and 6th overall in the league, they also just handed the Humboldt Broncos their first loss the of the season. With the Bombers being the team to beat right now, the Hawks will come out ready to play in front of their home crowd and be a good matchup for the Bombers.
The Bombers will then take on the Melville Millionaires (6-2-0-0) in a two-game series at home on Friday and Saturday, puck drop 7:30 PM. This will be the first time the Bombers and Millionaires will face off against each other this season. Last season, the Bombers and Millionaires played each other five times and the Bombers won all five. Melville is currently on a three-game win streak and just came off a win against the Melfort Mustangs, the only team to beat the Bombers so far. This will be another close matchup for the Bombers and a great test of their durability as they try to extend their win streak.
