This week, the Bombers will only have one game on Friday against the Nipawin Hawks (16-20-0-4). This will be the fifth time these two will matchup so far this season, with the last four games all going to the Bombers. The Hawks are currently 3rd in the Sherwood Division and 7th overall in the league with 36 points. Even though the Bombers have won all games against Nipawin this season, they shouldn’t take this game lightly. The Hawks have been a fairly strong offensive team with good goal tending that has given the Bombers some challenges this season. Also, being the #1 team in the CJHL, the Bombers always seem to get the best version of their opponents and this will probably be the case on Friday. Regardless, the Bombers should be able to grab the win this weekend in front of a pack Whitney Forum as it is Hockey Night in the North and the game will be free to the public.
