This week, the Flin Flon Bombers have another 3 game slate starting on Wednesday against the La Ronge Ice Wolves (8-17-2-1) at the Mel Hegland Uniplex. This will be the third time the Bombers take on the Ice Wolves this season. Both games went in Flin Flon’s favour earlier on this season, winning the first one 9-5 and the second 9-6. La Ronge currently sits at last place in the Sherwood Division and 10th place in the league with 19 points. Despite their record, the Ice Wolves are a physical team that will put pressure on the Bomber throughout the game to try and force mistakes. The Bombers will head back to the Whitney Forum on Friday and Saturday for back to back games against the Weyburn Redwings (10-9-0-4). The Bombers and Redwings have played each other two times this season and the Bombers were victorious in both of those games, winning the first game by a narrow margin of 2-1 and the second game 8-1. Weyburn currently sits at 2nd place in the Viterra Division and 8th place in the league with 24 points. The Redwings had a strong start to the season but have declined a little bit, but regardless, the Bombers have a target on their back and every team that comes into the Whitney Forum will come in thinking they can win. It will be a tough matchup for both teams and will definitely be a two good games to watch this weekend.
