The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce the signing of 2004 born forward Lucas Byrne.
The product of Pentiction, British Columbia, spent the last 5 seasons with the Okanagan Hockey Academy based out of Penticton. Byrne produced 25 points (10g, 15a) in 36 regular season games with the U18 Prep program.
“Lucas is a big bodied forward that is difficult to play against. He likes to engage physically and never misses an opportunity to make his opponent aware of his presence. He compliments those attributes with an excellent motor and ability to move the puck to create offence. Lucas displays good stride length and he is a solid skater that covers ground quickly.
