Bombers Ranked 18th in Country, 1st in SJHL Power Rankings

The Flin Flon Bombers cracked the CJHL top 20 ranking this week, after firing off a pair of victories over the La Ronge Ice Wolves in a home and home over the weekend.

Flin Flon defeated La Ronge 4-2 at home, and exploded Saturday night in a convincing 9-2 ousting on the road.

Calvon Boots had his first SJHL hatrick, and Nate Hooper had a pair of goals.

The Bombers are also ranked atop the SJHL Power Ranking this week, and currently sit with a league best +36 in goal differential.

Flin Flon will travel to Battleford for a key matchup over the Stars.

The Bombers sit 2nd in the Sheerwood Division with 30 points, just 1 point back on Nipawin, who have played 23 games, while Flin Flon have only played 21.

Flin Flon only sits 4 points back on Humboldt for top spot in the league, and hold 3 games in hand over the Bronco’s.

Next home action for the Flin Flon Bombers is Tuesday, November 20 at the Whitney Forum. Game time will be 7:30pm.
