The Flin Flon Bombers are happy to announce the acquisition of ‘04 Forward, Carter Anderson, from the Prince Albert Raiders of the WHL.

Anderson is a Thompson, Manitoba native who started his junior career with the Red Deer Rebels (WHL) after being drafted 51st overall in the 2019 WHL Bantam Draft. Anderson was with the Rebels for two seasons where he played in 93 games, tallied 12 goals and 3 assists for 15 total points. In the beginning of the 2022/23 season, Anderson was traded to the Prince Albert Raiders. Last season with the Raiders he put up 11 goals and 8 assists in 51 games. This season, Anderson played in 7 games for the Raiders where he tallied 1 goal. The left-shooting Anderson will be another great piece to the Bombers already high volume offense with his great shooting ability and high level of play.

“We are extremely happy to add our 5th northern boy. Carter plays with a lot of energy, has a good shot and is strong as an ox. He will fit nicely in our lineup and make us a deeper team” – Mike Reagan, Head Coach/GM

Anderson will suit up in tomorrow’s game against Estevan, 7:00 PM ST at Affinity Place in Estevan, SK.

The Bombers welcome Carter and his family to the organization and look forward to seeing him on the ice this season!
