The Flin Flon Bombers have acquired the SJHL rights to ’06-born forward Taye Shukin from the Notre Dame Hounds in a deal that was made during yesterday’s draft. Along with Shukin, the Bombers also acquired the 4th overall and 49th overall picks in the ’07 born draft in exchange for the 10th overall and 34th overall picks in the ’07 born draft.
Shukin, an ’06-born Canora, Saskatchewan product had 26 points in 34 games with the Notre Dame Hounds U17 Prep program. Taye has committed to the Estevan Bears U18 AAA program for the 2023-2024 season.
The Bombers would like to welcome Taye and his family to the Flin Flon Bombers organization.
