The Flin Flon Bombers are extremely excited to announce the signing of 2005 born Defenseman Sam Ward. Ward, stands 5’9 174lbs and shoots Left.
Sam is a free agent signing who played last season with the Victoria Grizzlies of the BCHL. Ward has over 90 games experience in the WHL with Swift Current and Wenatchee. Sam was teammates with former Bomber Adam McNutt in Swift Current .
Sam will be making his Bomber Debut October 17th vs Weyburn.
“We are excited about adding another veteran Dman with major junior experience. Sam will bring an offensive punch to our backend which will help our PP. It’s always nice when former Bombers help out in the recruitment of players. Nutter was a big part of us getting Sam and highly recommended him.”
