The Bombers made a statement this weekend taking sole position of first place in the SJHL after two hard fought wins over the visiting Kindersley Klippers. On Friday night despite going down 2-0 in the first period, the Bombers were able to rally off 6 unanswered goals to win 6-2. Sam Ward lead the offensive outburst with 2 goals and one assist while Maverick Deslisle (1 goal 3 assists) and Hudson Brehaut (3 assists) also found lots of success in the Klippers zone. Finn Werner was solid in the Bombers net stopping 18 of 20 shots sent his way in route to his 3rd win in as many SJHL games.
The Bombers picked up where they left off on Saturday night beating the Klippers 4-1. Landon Alexander, Joey Lies, Keaton Lesperance and Sam Ward all scored a goal each for the Bombers while Leo Seitz and Maverick Deslisle notched two assists a piece. Devin Peck turned away 23 of 24 Klippers shots in the win.
