The Bombers had an action packed week playing four games in five nights. Starting the week the Bombers travelled to Warman on Tuesday to take on the Wolverines. Despite outshooting Warman 47 to 24 the Bombers lost by a score of 5-2. Sam Ward and Ryan Ulmer picked up the Bombers two goals and Natan Meunier had two assists in the loss.

The Bombers responded well the next night beating the Wolverines 3-1. Ryder Mucha, Landon Alexander and Joey Lies had the Bombers goals while Finn Werner picked up his first SJHL win in his first SJHL game stopping 19 of 20 shots sent his way.

The Bombers went right back to work on Friday beating the Melfort Mustangs 8-3 at home. Leo Seitz lead the Bombers 8 goal outburst with a hat trick and Jack Martin picked up two goals as well. Matt Bradley stood tall in net for the Bombers picking up his fourth win of the season.

The next night the Bombers headed to Melfort to take on the Mustangs. Despite going down 1-0 the Bombers fought back and continued their winning ways earning a 5-2 decision. Joey Lies was the games first star scoring a hat trick to go along with one assist and goaltender Finn Werner picked up his second win in as many starts for the Bombers kicking aside 21 of 23 Mustangs attempts. The win propelled the bombers into first place in the SJHL.

The Bombers will battle the Kindersley Klippers at home next weekend for first place. Puck Drops Friday and Saturday at 7:30pm at the Whitney Forum.
