Victoria Royals Re-Assign Kyle Marsden To Bombers

The Flin Flon Bombers have added 2006 born right-handed shot defenceman Kyle Marsden from the WHL’s Victoria Royals.

Marsden was acquired from the AJHL’s Fort McMurray Oil Barons this past summer in exchange for a Player Development Fee and put up 7 points in 27 games last season. This season Marsden suited up in 7 games with Victoria before being re-assigned to the Bombers.

“Kyle came highly recommended from Keefe Gruener so when we had the opportunity to acquire his CJHL rights from Fort McMurray, it was a no brainer. Kyle will bring size, toughness and experience to our lineup and we’re excited to work with him. We’ve heard nothing but great things about his character and we expect him to be a great addition on the ice and in the community.” – Bombers Head Coach & GM, Mike Reagan

The 6’3, 228lbs product of Fort McMurray, Alberta was drafted in the 6th round of the 2021 WHL Bantam Draft by the Winnipeg Ice.
