Bombers Forward and Alternate Captain Keefe Gruener has been named the Victoria Inn Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Month for September.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba product is currently leading the Bombers in scoring with six points in four games. Gruener is tied for third in SJHL goal scoring with four and leads all SJHL players in shorthanded points with three. Keefe also had a +/- rating of +4 and had an impressive faceoff winning percentage of 71%.
The two-way forward was acquired at the CJHL’s January 10th trade deadline from the AJHL’s Fort McMurray Oil Barons last season.
