Bombers Goaltender Matthew Kieper has been named the Victoria Inn Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Month for November.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba product was acquired at the beginning of November from the AJHL’s Canmore Eagles and has posted a 5-0-0-0 record since joining the Bombers. Along with the five wins, Kieper posted a 2.16 GAA and a .936 SV% and helped the Bombers go undefeated this past month.
Earlier this month, Kieper was also named SJHL Sasktel Goalie of the Week after helping the Bombers get two road wins in Kindersley.
Despite sitting outside of a playoff spot at the end of October, the Bombers have now stormed back and sit in a three-way tie for 5th place in the overall SJHL standings.
The Bombers are back in action next weekend when the Melville Millionaires visit the Whitney Forum.
