Bombers Goaltender Matthew Kieper has been named the Victoria Inn Flin Flon Bombers Player of the Month for February.
The Winnipeg, Manitoba product posted a 5-1-0-0 record along with a 1.67 GAA and .936 SV%. The netminder currently leads the SJHL in the following categories heading into the final two weeks of the regular season, Goals-Against-Average (1.77), Save Percentage (.939) and is second in shutouts with three and third in wins with twenty.
Kieper and the Bombers will look to snap a two game losing skid when the SJHL leading Melfort Mustangs visit the Whitney Forum tonight.
