Reagan Signs Multi-Year Extension With Bombers

The Flin Flon Bombers are proud to announce that Head Coach & General Manager Mike Reagan has signed a multi-year extension.

“Having secured Mike and an extension going into the playoffs is big for our organization. Having our recruits, current returning players and their parents know that we’ll have consistency in the staff after this season is very important. Taking out the cancelled seasons, Mike has had great success in both the regular season and playoffs including three times to the SJHL finals in the past five completed seasons.” Bombers President, Travis Rideout

Reagan was named the Bombers Head Coach & General Manager prior to the 2007-2008 season where he guided the team to a 32 point increase and finished 3rd in the Itech Division before falling to the eventual Royal Bank Cup Champion, Humboldt Broncos in the Division final. He has since guided the team to a 483-286-40-30 record in 839 regular season games. This past season, he led the Bombers to a Sherwood Division title with a record of 37-15-2-2 record.

At the international level, Reagan has won 2 gold medals with Team Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge. First as the Video Coach during the 2015-16 tournament and then as the Head Coach in 2017-18. Mike was also a part of Team Canada West’s staff at the 2016-17 tournament as an Assistant Coach.

Reagan has also helped over 35 players advance to play in the NCAA Division I ranks.

Reagan, a Bombers alumnus, was a forward for the Bombers between 1996 and 2000. Reagan then went on to play 4 seasons of NCAA Division I hockey at Sacred Heart University
