Bombers Getting Size and Mobility in Robertson Signing
The Flin Flon Bombers are pleased to announce that forward Reid Robertson has signed with the team. At 6’ 2’’ tall, Bombers head coach and GM Mike Reagan feels that Robertson can be one of the best power forwards in the league.
“Reid Robertson- comes from another program that’s been good to us in the Winnipeg Thrashers. Reid brings size, skill and moves well for a big man. I think with time and patients he could turn into one of the top big forwards in the league as a 19 year old.’’
Robertson was second in Thrashers scoring with 48 points, and had a solid playoffs with 5 points in 8 games. Robertson joins current Bombers Brandson Hein, Nate Hooper, Dylan Burton, Dawson Mckenzie, and Mason Martin, as well as hopeful Billy Klymchuk to round out 7 potential Thrashers that could dawn the Maroon and White this season.
Robertson will join the other Bomber hopefuls starting on Thursday, August 30th, when Flin Flon opens it main camp.
