November Recap

The month of November has come and gone and its fair to say it has treated the Bombers quite nicely. With a record of 10-1-0-0, it has found the Bombers on top of the SJHL standings with 35 points. Defeating the likes of the Broncos, Mustangs and Klippers along the way.

The Maroon and White made one trade in the month of November, sending forward Michael Donovan to the Waywayseecappo Wolverines of the MJHL in exchange for a player development fee.

The Bombers added a couple of WHL players to its roster in F Daniel Morozov and G Finn Werner. Daniel, from the Victoria Royals and Finn from the Everett Silvertips. Morozov has 7 points in 6 games play thus far and Werner has started in 3 games and has 3 wins to his name.

The current roster sits at 15 forwards, 10 defenseman and 3 goalies.

Leading the way offensively has been Joey Lies with 8 goals to go along with 7 assists; Maverick Deslisle posting 13 points, Jack Martin notching 10 points and Reid Arberry adding 9 . Lies is currently 4th in points in the SJHL with 30 points overall. In net Devin Peck has 4 wins in 6 games, Matt Bradley with 3 wins in 3 games and Finn Werner with 3 wins. Peck currently has a save percentage of .898, Bradley with a .896 and Werner has a .921.

The Bombers also received some amazing news, forward Wyatt Stinton and head trainer/athletic therapist Jason J Rock Savill will be headed to Trois-Rivières, Québec and join Team Canada West for the World Junior A Challenge. Stinton, has had a breakout season posting 5 goals, and 13 assists in 18 games. We wish them along with the other SJHL personnel the best of luck at the tournament!

The Bombers currently hold a record of 17-7-0-1 and will play 6 games in the month of December to wrap up the calendar year of 2025.
