Congratulations to Goalies, ’05 Kenneth Marquart and ’03 Harmon Laser-Hume on being named the Northland Ford Flin Flon Bombers Players of the Week!
Both Goalies only played in one game this past week and they showed out in both of them. On Friday night in La Ronge against the Ice Wolves, Laser-Hume faced 44 shots and stopped 43, only letting one in to win 4-1 and boast a 1.00 GAA and .977 SV % for the week. Then on Saturday night at the Whitney Forum against the Ice Wolves again, Marquart was in between the pipes and got a 24 save shutout to win the game 4-0 and boast a 0.00 GAA and 1.00 SV %! Overall, to end off the first half of the season, Laser-Hume is the #1 Ranked Goalie overall in the SJHL with a 1.95 GAA and .935 SV %. Marquart is the #2 Ranked Goalie in the SJHL with a 1.99 GAA and .922 SV %! Safe to say the Bombers Goalie tandem has been absolutely on fire!
