Heading To Yorkton

After a four game home stand, the Bombers travel to Yorkton tonight, and Melville tomorrow.

After a weekend that saw them take two home games and outscore their opponents by a total of 14-5, the Flin Flon Bombers (29-15-0-4) head out for a pair of games starting tonight against the Yorkton Terriers (17-27-1-3)(Game Time: 7:30 – Radio: 102.9 CFAR).

After losing back to back times for the first time since November, the Bombers have won three straight have move back into second in the Sherwood Division, and fourth overall, thanks in part to a 8-2 win against Humboldt on Friday and a 6-3 win against Kindersley on Saturday.

Tonight they travel to Yorkton to take on the Terries who are in a playoff spot of their own right now holding down the 10th position in the SJHL, but are losers of two straight.

Flin Flon holds a 3-0 record against Yorkton this season with the last meeting happening at the Whitney Forum on January 5th when the Bombers needed a shootout for a 6-5 win.

The Bombers will wrap up their two game road swing in Melville tomorrow night before returning back to Flin Flon to host the Sherwood Division’s leading Melfort Mustangs on Saturday.
