Rauckman Wins Gold

1994 born Chris Raukman helped Team Canada win gold at the 2015 Inline Hockey World Championship

For one member of the 2014-15 Flin Flon Bombers, the end of the SJHL season wasn’t the end of their hockey for the summer.

1994 born Chris Rauckman (Red Deer, AB) was a member of Team Canada at the 2015 Inline Hockey World Championship, and after winning silver in the event last season, Rauckman and his club beat the host Fins, 4-2 for gold.  He had 2 points (1g, 1a) in six games helping the team go 6-0.

It was revenge for the Canadians who were defeated by Finland in the gold medal game of the 2014 tournament.

Rauckman played finished up his junior career with the Bombers this past season after being acquired from the Drumheller Dragons of the AJHL.  In 56 games his 64 points (39g, 25a) good for second in the SJHL.

Rauckman will play next season with the UPEI Panters of the CIS.
