It all comes down to this….

By Flin Flon Bombers, 03/03/15, 1:30PM CST

The Flin Flon Bombers and Nipawin Hawks will play one game to decide where they place in the SJHL Playoffs.

55 games down, one more to go, and it will take all 56 to decide where and who the Flin Flon Bombers will in their first round of the playoffs.

They’ve know for a while that they will make the playoffs, 8 straight since Head Coach and General Manger Mike Reagan took over the club back in the 2007-08 season.  They’ve also know for a while that they’ve been in a three team battle for fourth-fifth-sixth spot, fighting between the Notre Dame Hounds and the Nipawin Hawks.

Notre Dame clinched fourth on Friday with a 2-1 win over the visiting Kindersley Klippers, which left the Bombers and Hawks battling it out for fifth and sixth.   Each team split their home and home series, Flin Flon against La Ronge and the Hawks against the Mustangs.

It will all come down to tonight when they take to the ice at the Whitney Forum (Game Time: 7:30 PM).  The Bombers (30-13-6-6) hold a 2-1-2-2 record against the Hawks (33-16-2-4) this season.

The playoffs won’t start for either team for over a week as the Wild Card series starts for the 7th through 10th place clubs on Thursday and Friday.
