NARDONE HITS NHL CENTRAL SCOUTING LIST AS A PLAYER TO WATCH

Vincent Nardone- Rosemere, PQ, 2000-10-31

The Flin Flon Bombers Rookie forward Vincent Nardone was able to catch the eye of multiple scouts at the SJHL Showcase in Warman Sk. So much so, that he has cracked the NHL Central Scouting List as a player to watch.

Ranked as a group ‘C’ prospects, as a possible 4th, 5th, or 6th round selection in the NHL entry draft.

Nardone was an offseason recruit of Bomber head coach Mike Reagan and is off to a good start with 5 goals in his first 8 games.  “One school last week said to me, ‘he catches your eye on every shift’. He’s creative and plays with a lot of pace and energy. He hounds pucks and doesn’t mind going to the tough areas.”

Reagan also says of Nardone, “You don’t see these things very often in an 18-year-old and he has a late birthday so he’s almost a 2001 born player.  He’s provided our team with an additional threat that makes us very hard to defend against. He’s a great kid with a personality that matches the way he plays.” (Mike Stackhouse-SJHL)

The only other SJHL’er to make the list is Humboldt Bronco’s D Chase Felgueiras.

He joins Bomber Alums to be recognized recently by central scouting, they include- Brett Boehm, Micheal Young, Jesse Mychan, Andrew Johnston, and Cory Thomas.

Congrats Vincent!
