BOMBERS ACQUIRE WINGS CAPTAIN AHEAD OF TRADE DEADLINE

Head Coach and GM of the Flin Flon Bombers Mike Reagan has made a huge splash ahead of the January 10 trade deadline.

The Weyburn Redwings send 19 year old Captain Cade Kowalski to the Flin Flon Bombers in exchange for 19 year old Dawson McKenzie and future considerations.

Kowalski (Morden, MB) had a standout rookie season with the Weyburn Red Wings, notching 11 goals and 49 assists for 60 points in 58 games. This earned him the SJHL Rookie of the Year Honors, and also caught the eye of the NCAA Division 1 schools.

Kowalski has committed for the 2019-2020 season to Ferris State in Big Rapids Michigan in the WCHA Division 1 conference.

The Flin Flon Bombers would like to thanks Dawson for his time in Flin Flon, and wish him success in his future.
