The Flin Flon Bombers are excited to announce that graduating forward Anthony Piccininno has committed to Alvernia University (NCAA DIII).
The Toronto, Ontario product was acquired by the Bombers prior to the 2023-2024 season from the OJHL’s North York Rangers. In Anthony’s first season with the Bombers he put up 39 points in 50 games along with 12 points in 14 playoff games. In his final season of junior hockey, Anthony put up similar numbers with 37 points in 49 games and had a great post-season with 15 points in 12 games. In back-to-back seasons, Piccininno was named to Team SJHL for the annual SJHL & MJHL Showcase.

The Alvernia University Golden Wolves compete in the Middle Atlantic Conference and finished this past season with a 11-13-2 record. Alvernia University is located in Reading, Pennsylvania.
